THE 2027 THEME
Technology is changing safeguarding — but people still keep people safe
ISC2027 explores what artificial intelligence means for the protection of children and at-risk people. AI can spot patterns, ease the reporting burden and reach further than we ever could alone, but it can't replace the judgment, empathy and trust at the heart of safeguarding.
At ISC2027, we bring human wisdom and artificial intelligence into the same room. Across four days, we'll ask the hard questions together: where AI genuinely helps, where it puts people at risk, and how we build tools that keep human judgement firmly in the loop.
